Ceramic Tower Packings

We carry some stock of the most commonly used ceramic packing for corrosive applications as well as certain alumina balls used as catalyst support.

Inert Balls

Packing with balls has a comparatively small surface per packed volume
The expected pressure drop is quite high
They are often used as catalyst carriers and flow straighteners
Ceramic Balls are available in the sizes from # 1/8″ to # 2″
Other types of ceramic products can be made upon your request indicating the necessary technical data

Metal Tower Packings

Random packings are a cost-effective option to increase a tower’s capacity and efficiency. Tower packings have been used to reduce pressure drop through the column, increase the capacity compared to conventional trays at the same efficiency, and/or reduce liquid holdup in the column. Hydraulic data sheets for all our products are available on request.

iMS

Pall Ring

We produce the full range of iMS from #15 to #70
High-performance random packing, equivalent to the I-Ring or Intalox Metal Tower Packing (IMTP), the industry‘s first and most widely used high-performance random packing
Offer large random shapes for good wetting properties
Better mass transfer at a smaller hydraulic diameter compared to Pall rings as a result of the open and modern grid structure, the pressure drop is much smaller.
